He Skipped College and Sold His Company: The First Thiel Fellow To Make A Profit

When James Proud skipped attending a university and sold his company, he became the first Thiel Fellow to actually make a profit.  Forbes Magazine said:  "At 17, James Proud knew he wouldn’t be like other kids. Languishing in a preparatory school an hour-and-a-half train ride from South London, Proud had learned from years of unchallenging classes in an underperforming public school system that the traditional educational path wasn’t for him. So one day, while lying in bed, he had an epiphany: he wasn’t going to a university.  ..."
